Keyword stuffing

If you have various separate pages on your site that say exactly the same thing, and at a glance, you can see the same couple of words repeated over and over, you have a problem.

According to Google examples of keyword stuffing include:

  • Lists of phone numbers without substantial added value
  • Blocks of text listing cities and states a webpage is trying to rank for
  • Repeating the same words or phrases so often that it sounds unnatural, for example:
  • We sell custom cigar humidors. Our custom cigar humidors are handmade. If you’re thinking of buying a custom cigar humidor, please contact our custom cigar humidor specialists at custom.cigar.humidors@example.com.

We suggest going to translate.google.com, copying and pasting text from one of your pages, and clicking on the audio button so you can hear it read out loud. You will definitely notice if something is off!
